What is EPDM o-rings?
Ethylene propylene rubber is an elastomer prepared from ethylene and propylene monomers (ethylene propylene copolymer) and at times with an amount of a third monomer (ethylene propylene terpolymers). Ethylene propylene rubber has a temperature range of -50°C to +120°/150°C (-60°F to +250°/300°F), depending on the curing system. It has a great acceptance in the sealing world because of its excellent resistance to heat, water and steam, alkali, mild acidic and oxygenated solvents, ozone, and sunlight. These compounds also withstand the affect of brake fluids and Skydrol" and other phosphate ester-based hydraulic fluids. EPDM compounds are not recommended for gasoline, petroleum oil and grease, and hydrocarbon environments.

Kami tidak mengunakan o-ring lokal untuk semua komponen di tabung kami.
Apakah o-ring EPDM?
Karet Ethylene Propylene adalah sebuah jenis karet yang sangat dipercaya dari sekian banyak jenis o-ring di kelas-nya. Ini karena kemampuan o-ring EPDM untuk bertahan di temperatur -50°C hingga +120°/150°C (-60°F hingga +250°/300°F). Kemampuan-nya untuk bertahan terhadap air, uap air, keasaman (tingkat sedang) dan bahan pencuci serta sinar matahari menjadikan o-ring ini sebagai salah satu o-ring yang paling diminati untuk urusan seal. O-ring ini juga tahan terhadap bahan2 minyak (oli) hidrolik. Namun, o-ring EPDM, tidak tahan terhadap bahan2 seperti bensin, oli mesin dan gemuk. O-ring ini juga tidak bertahan di dalam ruangan yang sesak akan asap CO2.
